Register on MFMP — you have to. But use BidStride to actually find and prioritize opportunities. BidStride monitors MyFloridaMarketPlace plus federal and all 49 other states, with AI scoring so you know what to bid on.
Researched by the BidStride Research Team
MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) is the Florida Department of Management Services’ official electronic procurement system for state government purchasing. All Florida state agencies use MFMP to solicit and award contracts. Vendors who want to sell goods or services to Florida state agencies must register in the MFMP Vendor Information Portal (VIP) — it is a mandatory registration, not optional. The platform charges vendors a 1% transaction fee on most contracts awarded through the system.
MFMP publishes solicitations from agencies including the Florida Department of Transportation, Agency for Health Care Administration, Department of Corrections, and dozens of other Florida state entities. For contractors doing state-level work in Florida, the registration is required — there is no path around it.
What MFMP does not do is help you find opportunities. It publishes solicitations, but it provides no intelligence layer. It does not cover federal contracts in Florida, county or city procurement, or any opportunity outside Florida state government. For many Florida contractors, there is a gap between “registered in MFMP” and “actually winning contracts” — and BidStride exists to close it.
MFMP shows only Florida state agency solicitations. It does not surface federal contracts at MacDill AFB, Patrick Space Force Base, or VA medical centers in Florida. It does not show Miami-Dade, Broward, or other Florida county bids. These represent billions in additional contract spending.
MFMP is built around compliance and transaction processing — not bid discovery. It has no relevance scoring, no bid/no-bid recommendations, and no intelligence layer to help you decide which solicitations fit your firm and which to skip.
MFMP sends notifications when matching solicitations post, but there is no consolidated pipeline view, no deadline calendar integrating all your tracked opportunities, and no daily briefing that surfaces your highest-priority bids across all government levels.

MyFloridaMarketPlace feature information based on publicly available DMS documentation and Florida procurement community sources. BidStride Research Team, April 2026.
You need MFMP to submit proposals to Florida state agencies — that is not going away. BidStride is the layer that tells you which MFMP solicitations match your profile, scores them 0–100, and surfaces the federal and local Florida opportunities MFMP will never show you.
Florida's federal contract market — military bases, VA centers, federal agency field offices — rivals the state procurement market in total value. BidStride monitors SAM.gov for Florida-based federal opportunities and includes them in the same daily briefing as your MFMP matches.
A Florida contractor doing comprehensive coverage currently checks MFMP, SAM.gov, county procurement portals, and local agency sites separately. BidStride aggregates all of them into one filtered daily email, scored and ranked by relevance to your firm.
“Register on MFMP for Florida. Use BidStride to find opportunities everywhere — including the federal contracts in Florida that MFMP will never show you.”
MyFloridaMarketPlace is a compliance requirement, not a bid discovery platform. Florida contractors who rely solely on MFMP are seeing a fraction of their addressable market. BidStride closes the gap — Florida state bids, federal contracts in Florida, and county and city procurement, all in one daily briefing.

Yes. MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) is the Florida state government's official vendor portal — you must be a registered vendor there to submit proposals to Florida state agencies. BidStride does not replace MFMP registration. What BidStride does is monitor MFMP for new solicitations, score them against your firm profile, and surface them in your daily briefing alongside federal and other state opportunities you would otherwise miss.
Yes. BidStride monitors MyFloridaMarketPlace solicitations and includes them in your daily briefing alongside SAM.gov federal opportunities and state portals for all 49 other states. Florida bids appear alongside federal opportunities in your NAICS-matched daily email.
Florida has a significant federal presence: Naval Air Station Jacksonville, NAS Pensacola, MacDill Air Force Base, Patrick Space Force Base, multiple VA medical centers, FEMA Region 4, and dozens of other federal agency field offices. These agencies post billions in federal contract dollars through SAM.gov that MyFloridaMarketPlace does not show. BidStride surfaces both.
BidStride Intel assigns a 0–100 relevance score to every opportunity based on five factors: NAICS code match, set-aside eligibility, geographic fit, competition density, and your historical win/loss patterns. Florida state bids and federal contracts in Florida are both scored using the same model, so you can compare them directly and prioritize your pipeline with data — not gut instinct.
Yes. MFMP covers state agency purchases. BidStride also monitors Florida county, city, and special district procurement portals — including Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough, Orange County, and other major Florida markets. You get a complete Florida government market view that MFMP alone cannot provide.
Start free. No credit card. State, federal, and local Florida bids matched to your NAICS codes in one morning briefing.
